  • The Power of Believing It Will All Work Out
    Aug 12 2025

Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is believe that everything will work out—even when you don’t know how or when. In this episode, I share personal stories about moments I thought I’d never get over, only to realize that everything happens as it’s meant to—for our growth and better alignment. Rejection isn’t the end; it’s a redirection. Every door closed makes room for a more aligned one to open.

    You’ll learn:

    • Why uncertainty often feels scarier than failure
    • How to reframe rejection as a stepping stone to growth
    • Real-life examples of things working out in unexpected ways
    • Practical daily habits to build resilience, faith, and gratitude
    • The power of affirmations and mindset shifts in tough times
    • How to take small but meaningful steps forward even when unsure
    • How to handle doubt and stay centered during uncertain seasons

If you’re in a season of “not yet,” this episode will inspire you to trust the timing of your life and keep moving forward with hope and confidence.

  • Confident, But Not Too Confident: When People Only Like It on Their Terms
    Aug 5 2025

In this episode of Tea with D, I unpack the backlash I received from participating in a lighthearted TikTok trend — and how it quickly spiraled into a wave of men attacking my appearance. I was called fake, rated with numbers, asked “how much,” and even told that “time is ticking.” All because I had the nerve to look confident.

But this goes deeper than one video. Since I was a little girl, I never felt seen. I was the “ugly duckling” — overlooked and underestimated. Then in high school, I blossomed… and suddenly people did notice me — but with judgment. I was "slut-shamed". I was made fun of for putting effort into my appearance. I could never win.

For a long time, I lost my sparkle. But today, I feel like I’m finally stepping into who I was always meant to be — confident, joyful, and free. And yet, here we are again: people trying to tear me down for it.

This episode isn’t just about me. It’s for every woman who’s ever been told to be confident, but not too confident. Pretty, but not too pretty. Visible, but not too loud. Let's talk about it.

    🔑 Highlights:

    • The viral “decline” trend and the backlash I received
    • What it feels like to be judged for your appearance — no matter what side you’re on
    • My personal journey: from the “ugly duckling” to reclaiming my sparkle
    • The double standard of confidence for women
    • Turning hate into purpose

    📌 Reminder:
Confidence isn’t the problem — people’s discomfort with it is. Tune in and let’s sip on that truth.

  • The Plans Left the Group Chat: A Reminder to Say Yes to Life
    Jul 29 2025

This weekend was everything I didn’t know I needed — effortless laughs, deep conversations, and memories made with my people. The best part? We actually followed through. The plans left the group chat, and it reminded me how powerful it is to say yes — yes to showing up, yes to fun, yes to joy.

In this solo episode of Tea with D, I’m sharing the lessons that came from simply choosing to go. I talk about the energy that comes from being around the right people, how refreshing it is to be in rooms with no drama and real connection, and why making time for joy is one of the best things you can do for your soul.

If you’ve been stuck in “we should hang out soon” mode or you keep canceling on yourself and your people — this one’s for you. It’s time to make the plans, keep the plans, and live a little.

So grab your tea, and let’s talk about choosing presence, fun, and authentic connection.
