    Mitaya grew up on a vast stretch of land in Jasper, Georgia, at the base of the Appalachian Mountains. During her fall break from school, she broke her arm, leaving her with little to do but spend long stretches of time alone outside. Over the course of that week, she began noticing strange phenomena in the sky. On the final night of her break, she was woken up by two bright lights outside her bedroom window. She tried to ignore them and go back to sleep, but what happened next is something she still can’t explain to this day. And soon after, an article in the local newspaper suggested she wasn’t the only one who had experienced something unexplainable in Jasper that night. He believed his experience was original until years later, when an unexpected conversation at work made him realize he wasn’t the only one who had been visited by this entity.
