This recording touches on an experience I am constantly navigating as a "Worldmaking" scholar, as someone who wants to educated but instill ideologies that foster a more equitable and empathetic world.

This is something I do often, on my own, but I thought it was necessary to record this conversation with myself and I'm pretty much just expressing gratitude for my lived experience this far.

What are some things you are eternally grateful for?

According to Wikipedia, the term "Herzog" is a German hereditary title held by one who rules a territorial duchy, exercises feudal authority over an estate called a duchy, or possesses a right by law or tradition to be referred to by the ducal title.

This conversation has nothing to do with the term, but for some reason, the Apple memos app saved this recording under this title...weird, right?

Anyways, I'm discussing how hate is an embodied reality within this country (the United States)...

Anyone having vivid dreams and trying to make sense of them? I don't have a solution for you, just talking about my personal experience; this is my attempt to analyze my own dreams.

It's not that I don't want to be vulnerable, but I am constantly on the fence about whether it is necessary to tell my story. Especially now, when everyone has a story to tell. IDK but here's me thinking through that shit.

I recorded this before the start of the spring quarter (so during spring break), and now that I'm thinking about it, I was justified in being anxious about everything! We're looking at stress, brainstorming an imitation theory (briefly), and my thoughts before I head to the American South for the summer.

It feels like I'm going crazy living within a capitalistic society, and understanding what my participation means for the rest of the world. How do people wake up every day and choose not to acknowledge this truth?

Not sure why I felt the need to record this passage, maybe because of everything going on right now, and the comparisons between states? I think Nietzsche was onto something, and right now I'm researching and exploring some of his work. This is one of his first books I've started reading.

I plan to revisit this thought at a later time. I would love to hear others' opinions about this passage!
