A suggestion comes from the Pharisees that Jesus should make the crowd quiet. He responds by advising that if they don't make any noise, the rocks will cry out for me.

In THE LOST BEING FOUND BY GOD - Pt.3 (The Lost Son) Pastor Charles Newman looks at Luke's account of this parable, usually called the parable of the prodigal son. Prodigal means wasteful. The son "wasted his estate". But This is not the main thrust of the parable, however. In this lesson, we will call it the parable of the lost son because it is essentially a parable about a son who became lost and was found. Once in the Family but was disconnected from the family.
