Don’t be the actor who thinks nothing will change. That is doom for the growth of your career. Change is inevitable in any industry….but especially in the entertainment industry. Understanding that you can't stop change and strategically preparing yourself to keep up with it will put you leaps and bounds above actors who don't.

The business book "Who Moved My Cheese?" gives great insight on dealing with change. It's not a book written specifically for actors; but the lessons taught in the book are relevant to the business of acting.
