This week’s episode is the beginning of a 4-episode installment, where I share my experience of breaking free from my matrix. A.K.A. the suffocating pressure to be a Christian, wife, and mother - and how I began living life on my terms. From decentering men to questioning everything I was taught, this episode is for the women unlearning old beliefs and choosing self-trust over survival mode.

  • 10. How My Ex Got REVENGE for My First “No”
    Sep 25 2025

In this week's episode, I’m sharing a story I’ve never told before...about how my ex got revenge for the first time I told him no.

It’s messy, it’s personal, and it’s proof that some men will hold onto rejection like a grudge. I’m breaking down how ignoring my intuition and giving him another chance led to one of the most toxic relationships of my life, and why you should NEVER let a man you rejected once slide back in.

Sometimes your first “no” is the only answer you’ll ever need.

  • 9. Ice Spice, Latto & the GYATT of It All | Mini Pop Culture Case Study
    Sep 16 2025

In this mini pop culture case study, I’m breaking down Ice Spice and Latto’s new collab “Gyatt”. On the surface, it’s a fun, body-focused track that went instantly viral. But what does it really say about the music industry, beauty standards, and who gets to control the narrative around women in rap?

In this episode, I break down what I call “the hamster wheel”. It’s the cycle of men’s lust fueling labels, surgeries, and songs that keep the male gaze at the center. However, I’m not here to bash Ice Spice or Latto. Instead, I want to pull the curtain back on the system and open up a space for women’s voices to lead this conversation.

Do you see “Gyatt” as just harmless fun, or as another cog in the industry’s machine? Is it empowering, pandering, or maybe both? I don’t have all the answers, but I want to hear yours. Because your voice matters here.
