    EP 4: The Fourth Turning, How History Repeats Itself, and Our Predictions for the Future

    Neil Howe and William Strauss wrote two incredible books – Generations (published in 1991) and The Fourth Turning (published in 1997). They are the creators of the Strauss-Howe Generational Theory, which outlines the 4-stage cycle that repeats every 80-100 years (which is approximately the length of a long human life, also known as a "saeculum").

    Their books suggest that there are four turnings of history that repeat throughout time:
    1st Turning: A High
    2nd Turning: An Awakening
    3rd Turning: An Unravelling
    4th Turning: A Crisis

    In addition to the Four Turnings, Strauss and Howe created four archetypes used to describe the generations of people shaped throughout history. These generational archetypes are: the Prophets, Nomads, Heroes, and Artists. As an example, in our current age, Millennials would fall into the Hero archetype, while Gen Xers are the Nomads, and Baby Boomers are the Prophets. The generation born in or after 2005 are the Artists. As each archetypal generation reaches the end of its 80-year lifespan, the cycle repeats.

    At the end of this episode, we discuss some of our predictions for the future and what crises we might face during this Fourth Turning.

We go into some of our experiences within the healthcare industry, and discuss how the Ro-Ro P*nd*m*c lifted the veil and exposed our For-Profit Healthcare System. We do try to use different terms and censor ourselves so our buddies at Big Tech (and Big Pharma) won't ban us, so we used the very scientific and professional term "Dinglebop" when referring to the Rona v*****es. This won't be the only time we talk about all this, so stay tuned!
