 Founded between 2022 and 2024, the Georgia Network for Electric Mobility (GNEM) is a pan-university initiative housed at the University of Georgia focused on electric mobility and transportation innovation, research, and economic development.

GNEM envisions Georgia and the Southeast Battery Belt as a world leading ecosystem for future mobility innovation. The network operates as a think tank and multidisciplinary consortium, providing thought leadership at the bleeding edge of future mobility innovation and bringing together industry, academia, government and communities to aid workforce development, economic development and research.
