About this listen

The best way to prove The Bible Is Good is to actually experience it. You don’t need a degree. You don’t need a grey beard. You just need a bible and the willingness to dig in. Each episode you will discover what a Bible passage actually says. I, your host Jeff Miheve, will use my 35 years of experience leading Bible Studies to guide you through the text. I will start with observations of the text and use those observations to build the interpretation. With a strong understanding of the interpretation, I will give some options on how you can apply the passage to your life today. This is not preaching. This is not taking a verse to prove my personal point of view. It is an exposition of what the text has to say to all of us. If you have the guts to find out what the Bible actually says, it will change your life. Come and see.2026 Christianity Ministry & Evangelism Self-Help Spirituality Success

  • What Kind of Soil Are You? (Mark 4:1–20)
    Jan 22 2026

Jesus tells the Parable of the Sower, but the real meaning sits in the middle of the story. In Mark 4, Jesus says some have been given “the secret of the kingdom of God,” and that raises a simple but unsettling question: what is that secret?

This episode shows that the good soil is not defined by knowledge, productivity, or religious effort. It is defined by people who move toward Jesus and want to be with him, even when they are confused. The secret of the kingdom is not having all the answers. It is coming to Jesus and staying in his presence.

  • Your Love Is Better Than Life (Psalm 63)

Psalm 63 begins in a dry place. David is thirsty, exhausted, and under pressure, yet his longing is not for relief or escape. His whole being thirsts for God. In this episode, we walk through Psalm 63 to see how spiritual dryness can clarify what we are really seeking.

  • Come and See That the Bible Is Good
    Jan 7 2026

Everything about Christianity really comes down to one question: “Is the Bible trustworthy and true?”

If it isn’t, then there’s no reason to hang on to it. But if it is—then it deserves the commitment of our time, our attention, and our lives.

The Bible Is Good is a podcast for people who want to take Scripture seriously without turning it into something cold or academic. In each episode, we slow down and sit with a specific passage of the Bible, listen carefully to what it actually says, and wrestle with why it matters for real life.

This podcast isn’t about winning arguments or showing off Biblical knowledge. It’s about knowing the Scriptures, being shaped by them, and rediscovering that God’s Word is living, active, and truly very good.
