I am finally recovering from my concussion to film this introduction for this episode that is near and dear to me. The blood is mentioned over 700 times in the Bible, so don’t you think it's important to talk about? I’m joined by my friend Aaron, who is a worship leader and artist with UPPERROOM Church. We discuss communion and how the blood of Jesus has transformed His life through Scripture and joy of the Lord!

As Augustine of Hippo says best, “He gave Himself for you: keep yourself for Him. He shed His blood for your ransom: do not make yourself a slave again.” The blood atones for your sin, redeems you, cleanses you, justifies you before God, and reconciles you to Him. So yeah- it's a big deal.

Satan is the “accuser of the brethren.” The blood of Jesus answers every accusation and defeats every hold he tries to claim over you. You can resist the devil, not in your strength, but by the authority of the blood. Rev 12:11.
