French political science graduate Margot Denis is currently studying for a Masters at ESJ School of Journalism, Lille A core part of her studies is an assignment to Scotland, where she will seek out the Brexit views of young people. In this interview with Martin Roche, she talks about politics in France, what she hopes to find in Scotland, her time as an Erasmus+ student in Turkey, and about her career ambitions.

Immense wealth seems to be a form of impunity insurance against any form of accountability. In today's world of excessive consumption the notion of respectability seems to have been lost. The lack of empathy amongst political leaders is palpable. Those in power seem to be untouchable, and the fate of the victims nothing more than 'pearl clutching'. In what sort of society do we want to live in? Will the UK move more towards a US or a European form of society? Is the UK heading towards a two tier health system with those who can afford treatment and those who can't?
