This season follows the investigation into the death of Michael Hanson at the hands of the Cascade County Sheriff's Office. Sergeant Jacob Tri encountered Michael Hanson on February 23, 2024, an encounter that lasted 89 seconds and ended with Sergeant Tri shot in the shoulder, and Michael Hanson dead on the ground.
