In 2012 writer JAMES ROBERTS was tapped by IDW to write a Transformers series called More Than Meets The Eye. Readers thought they were getting a zany, irreverent story featuring some of their favorite Transformers but under the skilled pen of Roberts what they got was a wonderful story about a group of “people” struggling with their identities, their traumas and themselves.

Writer PAULA SEVENBERGEN joins THE COMIC SHOP SHOW! Paula has had a fascinating career. She got her start as an editor for WIZARD MAGAZINE. From there it was onto MAD MAGAZINE and writing for DC projects like CATWOMAN and now, her latest creator-owned series, FLOW from Mad Cave Studios! Stephanie Gladden has been on the scene since the 1990’s, working with licensed properties like THE POWERPUFF GIRLS, THE SIMPSONS and CARTOON NETWORK BLOCK PARTY. She’s worked in animation and you’ve definitely seen her work on shows like SPACE GHOST COAST TO COAST, THE PATRICK STAR SHOW and that juggernaut of kids programming, SPONGEBOB SQUARE PANTS.

Emmett Hobbes's work can be seen in the graphic novel My Riot about a teenage girl in the 90s discovering the punk scene and herself. He’s also the creator of the Webtoon series Royale, a comic that starts off as a heist story but quickly turns into something much, much more. Emmett also recently started an editorial internship with the graphic novel publisher First Second Books.

Kyle Starks has written for DC comics- most recently on Peacemaker Tries Hard and has regularly contributed to the Rick & Morty comics. A former beat reporter for a daily paper, Van Jensen burst onto the scene with Pinocchio, Vampire Slayer. From there he was writing comics for DC like Green Lantern Corps and The Flash. He’s also done work on properties like James Bond and Godzilla and his creator-owned work includes comics like Cryptocracy and ARCA. His debut novel, Godfall, is currently in development as a TV series under Ron Howard's Imagine TV.

JUNE BRIGMAN is pretty much a comic book legend. She's the co-creator of Marvel's Power Pack and has worked on everything from X-Men and Supergirl to Star Wars and Conan The Barbarian.
