A Fallout 4 Fan Fiction Audio Drama

    Episode Name: CHOICES

    October 25th, 2287 - Log 006

    Day Three - Mid- Afternoon.

Nate's moving toward Concord for answers — and finds a war zone instead.

Five raiders. A man pinned down on a balcony. And a dog who'd already made up his mind before Nate had.

This tape follows Nate through the streets and into the Museum of Freedom... where split-second decisions, a weapon he'd never held before, and a ragtag group of survivors called the Minutemen are about to complicate an already impossible mission.

He came to Concord for information about Shaun. He's leaving in power armor.

    October 24th, 2287. - Log 005.

End of Day two - Late evening.

Nate Campbell moves out from Sanctuary Hills before sunrise, headed east toward Concord. The Commonwealth has lessons to teach a pre-war soldier about patience, awareness, and knowing which bags not to pick up. Then — a lit gas station in the middle of nothing, a bark in the dark, and something the wasteland doesn't hand out often. Something worth holding onto.

A Fallout 4 Fan Fiction Audio Drama

    Episode Name: TOPSIDE

    October 23rd, 2287 - Log 003.

    Day one - Late Afternoon.

The surface. Sanctuary Hills. Nate Campbell steps out of Vault 111 and into a world two hundred and ten years beyond everything he knew. The neighborhood is bones and rust. The government never came back. And somewhere out there, his son is waiting. A pre-war soldier sees the Commonwealth for the first time — and the wasteland wastes no time introducing itself.

    In This Holotape

    • Nate surfaces from Vault 111 and sees the Commonwealth for the first time through pre-war eyes.

    • Sanctuary Hills — once his neighborhood — is rubble, ash, and silence.

    • A giant molerat, a woman with a pipe pistol, and a man in flame-painted T-60 power armor

    • Codsworth — still operational, still waiting, still trimming a dead hedge after 210 years.

A Fallout 4 Fan Fiction Audio Drama

    Episode Name: INTRODUCTIONS

    Series Starts April 15th... 2026.

    Well, Sugar... You found it.

This is my little ad, my promo for The Dusty Signal. The airwaves are now open on this show. No holotapes yet. This time, it's just little 'ole me... Blabbering on about myself, this show, and the real star, Nate Campbell. Buckle in my little devils, the ride is about to start! - DJ Dusty

Who is DJ Dusty? She's a wanderer. A survivor. A woman who's seen too much of the nastiness that the wasteland has in it, and the nastiness that humans can have in them too. She doesn't pretend the wasteland ain't ugly, but she's just too stubborn to stop believing people are worth talking to.

She's ran caravans from California to New Vegas. Been a mercenary in the Capital Wasteland, and even ran with the Brotherhood for a spell as a scribe in the Boston Commonwealth.

Somewhere between dodging Deathclaws and double-crossers, she heard a voice on the radio that changed everything for her.

She has done some AWFUL things to stay breathing, and she's spent a lifetime trying to atone for her past... even though it wasn't the past she was supposed to have. So, she hung up her rifle, dusted off an old transmitter, and just started talking.

This season is centered around a busted Pip-Boy she recovered during her travels. When she got it running again, she discovered daily recordings... a story she'd never heard. One that she just knew she HAD to tell. So, painstakingly transferred them to holotapes and this show was born.

Nate Campbell was the sole survivor of Vault 111. You may thin you know his story... but, you'd be wrong.

The Dusty Signal is an independently produced Fallout 4 fan fiction audio drama. One creator. No crew. No budget. Just determination and a dream.

AI-assisted voice generation. Original writing. Original storylines... I tried to follow lore as much as possible. This project is made when life allows me time.

    Enjoy!

  • EP00: Trailer | The Dusty Signal - A Fallout 4 Fan Fiction Audio Drama
    Apr 1 2026

A Fallout 4 Fan Fiction Audio Drama A father woke up 210 years after the bombs dropped. His wife was murdered. His son was stolen. This is his story.

The Dusty Signal is a Fallout 4 fan fiction audio drama created by one person, Garrick Cline... That's me, a 54 year-old, Army veteran and a longtime Fallout fan. The Dusty Signal is built from scratch when time allows it. I'm a husband, father, grandfather and I work a full-time, labor-intensive job. But I love the Fallout universe and have wanted to tell this story for a long time.

This podcast was created under the Classic Me Studio (my one man creative studio) banner. Voices have been brought to life with ElevenLabs AI technology. Every word is written, produced, and assembled by me. All sound engineering is created by me. This show is made with AI, not by AI..

The use of AI in this audio drama production series is by necessity only. I am only one person.... I have no budget, no big production company backing me, no team of professionals, no connections to voice actors or the ability to pay them. I have me, what little time I have between being a husband, father, grandfather, and full-time employee. I LOVE to create things and this story has lived in my head for many years... AI gives me the tools to bring it to life.

"I use AI for cover art, the Fallout inspired song (Vaulted Heart) used in the series, text to speech models to bring the voices to life, and to help me figure out how to make it all work. I am essentially using AI for my team... I hope to one day build my studio, Classic Me Studio, into an income producing entity that will allow me to shift away from AI and hire real people for the acting roles. Until that time... I'll use AI." - Garrick Cline

Season one follows Nate Campbell through the post-apocalyptic Commonwealth, guided by an original character, DJ Dusty. She's a radio DJ that found his recordings and decided the world needed to hear his story. She plays a new tape every Wednesday.

The journey starts April 15th, 2026.
