  • Breaking the Chains: A Journey with Pastor Boyd Harrell
    Jan 3 2026

Season 3 of The Edge opens with a conversation that is deeply personal and years in the making.

We sit down with Pastor Boyd Harrell, founder of C.O.O.L. Ministries, a pastor, mentor, and spiritual father whose influence has shaped much of our journey.

Bill first met Pastor Boyd when Boyd came to minister at the Ramsey Unit while Bill was incarcerated. After his release, COOL Church became Bill’s first free-world church. It is where Bill was ordained, where he became a worship leader, where he proposed to Stephanie, where they were married, and where they later led worship together.

It is also where Stephanie first stepped out in faith with her voice, beginning a journey that would shape her into the vocalist, worship leader, and speaker she is today. What started in obedience and vulnerability grew into a calling that now reaches audiences far beyond the walls of the church.

During the COVID lockdowns, when doors were closing everywhere, COOL Church opened theirs, allowing Less Than The Least Ministries to livestream a critical fundraiser from their sanctuary. That partnership and shared mission continues to this day.

This episode also includes a live praise and worship service from May of 2021, featuring COOL Witness, the worship team of COOL Church. The service captures the heart of COOL’s worship culture and the spirit of praise that has been central to this ministry for decades.

In addition, we dive into Pastor Boyd’s Breaking the Chains curriculum, an approach to discipleship and spiritual freedom that has impacted lives both inside and outside prison walls.

This is more than an interview.
It is a testimony of faithfulness, obedience, and what God can build when people say yes.

  • The Search For God: From the Garden to the Manger
    Dec 25 2025

We are pulling one out of the BTN Vault today. This was originally aired on Christmas last year.

In Genesis, after the fall, God’s first recorded question to humanity is simple yet profound: “Where are you?” It is not a question of location, but of relationship. God is pursuing man after separation.

This message was inspired by a sermon preached by Rodney Garrison, a volunteer and a member at one of our church partners, The Way of Life Church, reflecting on that moment in Genesis and its meaning for our lives today.

As I continued to sit with that truth, another question came into focus. In Matthew’s Gospel, the Magi ask the first recorded question of the New Testament: “Where is He?” It is humanity searching for God.

Taken together, these two questions frame the entire story of Scripture. From the Garden to the Manger, from separation to reconciliation, the Bible tells the story of a God who seeks us and a people learning to seek Him.

This episode explores that journey—and what it means for us today.

  • Mindset Matters
    Dec 16 2025

In this powerful episode of The Edge, we sit down with Rustin Pangburn, a former federal inmate who transformed his life through a radical shift in mindset. Today, Rustin is an author, blogger, podcaster, and national collaborator committed to helping formerly incarcerated men and women navigate reentry and pursue lasting freedom.

Rustin shares his personal journey from incarceration to purpose and the heart behind his book Mindset Matters. Together, we explore how setbacks, especially self-inflicted ones, can become comebacks when ownership, humility, and intentional thinking replace blame and despair. Rustin explains why taking responsibility for our choices does not minimize a setback but often becomes the very catalyst for lasting change.

This conversation is honest, practical, and deeply encouraging for anyone wrestling with their past, facing reentry, or seeking freedom from mental and spiritual strongholds. Rustin’s story is a reminder that while circumstances matter, mindset matters more.

    The Edge, where transformation happens.
