About this listen

THIS PODCAST HAS CLOSED DUE TO META'S ARTIFICIAL 'INTELLIGENCE' PERMANENTLY DELETING OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES WITH FALSE POSITIVE FLAGS. (NO BREACHES WERE MADE AND NO APPEALS WERE ALLOWED). IT WAS FUN WHILE IT LASTED. GOD BLESS.

Welcome to The FightScene with F-16, hosted by former pro fighter Shannon ‘F16’ Forrester. This Podcast shares wisdom from top trainers and fighters from around Australia and New Zealand, with a focus on helping you get better at life & in the ring.

About the Host: With over 100 fights on the international Muay Thai circuit, Shannon’s career includes National, Commonwealth, and South Pacific titles, and a No. 6 ranking in the WMTC World Rankings. After retiring, Shannon turned his attention to training the next generation of fighters, eager to share the lessons he learned from his time in the ring.

Shannon's journey began at the iconic Boonchu Gym on the Gold Coast, where he trained alongside some of the pioneers of Muay Thai in Australia and New Zealand. Having competed against many of the world’s top fighters, Shannon often found himself intrigued by the stories behind the athletes – who they were before stepping into the ring, and what shaped them into the fighters they became. The FightScene is dedicated to uncovering these stories.

Shannon is also a Husband and Dad who has battled his own personal journeys with mental health, addictions, grief and more, but has stories of hope as he has had great people walk alongside him on the way.

In each episode, Shannon interviews top trainers and fighters from Australia and New Zealand, offering an inside look at the lives and experiences of the individuals behind the gloves. The channel serves as a virtual mentor for up-and-coming fighters, providing them with access to inspiring figures they can look up to and learn from.

Beyond storytelling, The FightScene covers essential topics like emerging training techniques, fitness, health, and nutrition advice, alongside strategies for winning both in life and the ring. Whether you're an aspiring fighter, a fan of Muay Thai, or just someone seeking personal growth through discipline and resilience, The FightScene offers a unique space to learn from the best.
