Many people admire Jesus but stop short of giving Him the throne of their lives. Christ does not take second place to anyone or anything. He is not simply an admired teacher or inspiring martyr but the eternal Son of God who must hold first place in our hearts and lives. The question is not whether we will give Jesus a place, but whether we will give Him the first place. Is He on the throne of your life—or just in the background?
