In the first Fly-In episode of 2026, Landsman and Veasey are joined by Congressman Adam Smith (WA-09), the current Ranking Member and top Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee. Smith gives a comprehensive overview of the Trump Administration’s lack of strategy to prevent chaos in Venezuela, and further threats against countries like Greenland.

The Members also touch on the developing situation in Iran and the potential for American involvement.

Then, the Members turn to the home front to talk through the killing of 37-year-old mother Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis at the hands of ICE, and the dangerous lack of accountability for Administration officials and federal agents. They wrap up by watching Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s response to the Department of Justice’s criminal investigation against him, connecting it to the Administration’s broader efforts to bully and pressure independent bodies to do Trump’s bidding.

In Episode 26, “Round Trip,” Landsman and Veasey are joined by Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland (WA-10), who serves as the Whip of the New Democrat Coalition and was the podcast’s first guest when she joined Episode 2 in March. In Episode 25, “Top Gun” Landsman and Veasey are joined by Congressman Gil Cisneros (CA-31) for a discussion on all things Hegseth, from the double-tap strike in the Caribbean to the Signalgate scandal.

Cisneros gives his takes as an expert in the field – a former Navy officer currently serving on the Armed Services Committee in Congress, who was also appointed as the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness during the Biden Administration.

The Members then react to President Trump’s backtracking on releasing the full September 2nd video, and play a game comparing the real Pete Hegseth to his SNL portrayal from over the weekend.

In Episode 24, “Flight Logs,” Landsman and Veasey welcome Congressman James Walkinshaw (VA-11) to the podcast, who became the Coalition’s newest Member after winning a special election in September. Congressman Walkinshaw, who serves on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, walks through the latest developments in House Oversight Dems’ investigation into the Epstein files and previews where the investigation will be headed in the near future.

The group also discusses the concerning developments regarding Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and the potential war crimes committed in a September strike in the Carribean. They close with the President’s corrupt use of the presidential pardon, including his decision to pardon the former President of Honduras, who is a convicted narcotrafficker.

In Episode 23, “First Officer,” Landsman and Veasey are joined by House Democratic Whip Katherine Clark (MA-05), the second-highest-ranking lawmaker in the House Democratic Caucus. In a wide-ranging discussion, Congresswoman Clark describes the challenges and opportunities facing the Democratic Whip in the current political environment. She also details the lessons we should learn from the shutdown as we approach another funding deadline in January.

The group also touches on the latest developments in the Epstein files, discussing how the American people are demanding transparency and are fed up with the corruption in the White House.

In Episode 22, “Return Flight,” Landsman and Veasey convene on the final day of the longest government shutdown in history to discuss their opposition to the government funding bill that does nothing to lower costs for the millions of working Americans dealing with Republicans’ healthcare crisis. They also talk through the last-minute addition to the package that allows certain Senators to rake in millions of taxpayer dollars.

Then, they tackle the bombshell revelations about President Trump’s connection to Jeffrey Epstein following the release of thousands of Epstein’s emails by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, which coincided with newly sworn-in Representative Adelita Grijalva (AZ-07) becoming the 218th and final signature needed on the House discharge petition to force a vote to release the Epstein files.
