  • EP1 - France, at the cutting edge of Artificial Intelligence
    Sep 9 2024

💻 The term is on everyone's lips. From music to sport, from finance to the legal system, on our personal computers and our mobile phones, AI is everywhere. We can even say unerringly that it is one of the issues of the century. How can we keep control over this technical goldsmithery, that is advancing at a pace that is beyond our understanding? And what does the world have to learn from the French approach to AI, the land of enlightenment, humanism and critical thinking? We put the question directly to those who have their hands in the algorithms.

  • EP2 - Is interdisciplinarity the key to ecological progress?
    Sep 10 2024

♻️ How can we train students to meet the environmental challenges that lie ahead? A number of French schools are beginning to lay the foundations for new courses, focusing on interdisciplinarity. New synergies between different scientific programmes, training in climate issues for students who have not been trained for this purpose... there is no longer any question of being ‘just a journalist’ or ‘just a businessman’, you need to be able to specialize in your area of defense. In this episode, we take a look at the schools that take a different approach to ecology, using one of France's most cutting-edge areas of research as an example: oceanography.
