The season is over after a 49-20 loss to Notre Dame (good cover). Stanford finishes 4-8 overall, 3-5 in conference. The best finish since 2020! Also, the Cardinal announced our new head coach, and surprise, it's Tavita Pritchard. The guy you could have guessed probably a year ago. We talk about the season, and the hiring. Stanford kept it close for a lot longer than we expected, that's good, right? After the 42-7 blowout, Stanford is back home this week to face the (good?) Pitt Panthers. Can we improve to 4-0 at home???

Stanford falls to SMU on the road 34-10, which is technically better than they did last year. And the Cardinal kept it close for 3 quarters, so maybe if we squint it looks like improvement. This week Stanford is back in California for the homecoming game against Florida State, the first ever matchup vs the Seminoles!
