  • Organizing for Justice and Abolition in St. Louis (w/ Janis Mensah)
    Nov 25 2025

The GGP welcomes Janis Mensah for the inaugural interview episode! Janis shares their experience of being arrested in the summer of 2023 (charged with trespassing and resisting) for the crime of entering the City Justice Center (CJC),during standard hours of operation, in order to investigate the death of an inmate. Along the way, we discuss an earlier interaction with the Washington University Police Department when Janis was a freshman at the school. The episode concludes with a discussion about how to handle those rare moments when organizing leads to clear and contemporaneous "win," and whether such a result suggests broadening the scope of the ad hoc organization which secured it.

  • GGP Book Report: The Anatomy of Power (Galbraith)
    Sep 30 2025

The Greater Good Podcast's first Book Report episode has finally arrived! Bryan will take you through author John Kenneth Galbraith's framework for understanding and analyzing power (3 sources, 3 instruments of enforcement), and provide contemporary examples in the process. Of course, every GGP episode includes humor and/or silliness, Book Report or not.

Thanks, in advance, for your patience and understanding regarding the significant delays in publishing E3. Now that we're back on track, expect to see new episodes at least once every 2 weeks (if not sooner), until we're able to establish a routine. We're also up on Spotify, Dashboard, and in progress with Apple Podcasts.

Will be setting up a Patreon account soon for donations to show! But remember--the Greater Good Podcast will always be free and accessible to all. No paywalls, no advertisements. No gates, no gatekeepers. https://www.missourigreenparty.org https://www.gp.org
