Hey divas ˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗ Welcome back to The Groovy Chicks Podcast! This is a big one for us! Episode 5 and our first time recording in a studio after starting this whole thing on a sofa.

New year, new space, same Groovy Chicks.

In this episode we’re reflecting on the highs and lows of 2025, celebrating everything we achieved, and getting real about the moments that shaped us from graduation, Primavera, breakups, to sleepovers, summer picnics and nights out. We chat about how the new year is making us feel, how we rang in 2026, and what growth actually looks like when you’re still figuring it out.

We dive into our Spotify Wrapped, favourite music of the year and artists who popped off or made a comeback such as Lorde, Justin Bieber, Doechii and Ariana Grande.

We also spoke about why giving creatives their flowers (and proper credit!) is a non-negotiable for us going into 2026. We open up about personal growth, being sensitive souls, job hunting,creative confidence, and learning to stop working for free.

To wrap it up, we talk about our songs of the week, and some final thoughts as we step into a new year, off the sofa and onto the mic.
