He outlines Numidia’s geography and its famed light cavalry, then traces the royal succession after Massinissa: Micipsa raises his nephew Jugurtha. Sensing a snake in the grass, he sends Juggurtha to war hopefully never to return! When he does return, he tries to contain His famous nephew by dividing the kingdom among Jugurtha and his sons Adherbal and Hiempsal. Jugurtha murders one and sends the other on the run. Acient family fued at it's worse!
