About this listen
This month on Healing Every Soul, we’re leaning into kindness not just as something we do, but as something we inherit, cultivate, and carry. In this special episode, I sit down with the two people who first taught me what compassion looks like in real time: my parents.
Together, we revisit the home I grew up in; the one that always felt full, where someone was always being fed, encouraged, prayed for, or welcomed in. We talk about the values that shaped our family, the different worlds my parents came from, and how God used their marriage to teach them (and many others) about patience, forgiveness, and generosity.
This conversation opens a window into where my heart for people began, how kindness was lived out in our home, and why it still matters so deeply to me today. It’s a moment of revising where I came from, a tribute to the hands and hearts that raised me, and a reminder that the fruit we carry often starts with the seeds someone else planted long before we even knew it.
Let’s journey together, let’s thrive, let’s heal.
