This semester, the Hum team interviewed students about caffeine consumption on American University’s campus. The episode explores how much caffeine students consume and why they decide to drink coffee, energy drinks or tea to fuel their energy.

In this episode, we interviewed students about the internship culture at American University. We spoke to students in different years about the pressure they feel to get an internship, how they feel about the ones they have and how they deal with rejection. They discussed how they have succeeded and failed to find internships and why they felt the need to seek out a professional experience while in college.

In this episode, we spoke with students of color at American University about their experiences attending a Predominantly White Institution (PWI), we also spoke with students for whom English is a second language. They discussed how they find community on campus, stigma they face and if they even like the term "people of color," the results are mixed.

In this episode, we bring you conversations with four different students about what they envision for the beginning of their adult lives. In hearing about their hopes, fears, and ambitions, you'll hear about everything from activism to AI to the sports business and beyond.
