  • Episode 10: "Steel Cages"- with Criminal Defense Attny Tony Serra
    Jun 20 2021

This is part 1 of my interview with acclaimed Defense Attny Tony Serra.  Tony has been named one of the best trial lawyers of the 20th century and has defending clients pro-bono ranging from Huey Newton of the Black Panthers, to "Brownie Mary" a little old lady arrested for bringing marijuana brownies to hospice patients.  Having taken a vow of poverty himself, he is the defense attorney of the underdog and many of his cases have had national significance.

Research for this episode came from "Lust for Justice: The Radical Life and Law of J Tony Serra" by Paulette Frankl.
