  • Special Guest, Morgan Bonilla! The Transformative Power of Intuition: How a marathon, a move, and monks guided her forward toward healing, wholeness, and helping others
    Sep 16 2025

Episode with Morgan Bonilla, Theta Meditation Healer & Reiki Master!

Welcome everyone! Welcome back to Joy Over Fear, where we talk about choosing Joy and positive change. This week, we are leaning into life's guidance and exploring the transformative power of intuition. I’m so excited to have you join us for this episode, as we dive deep into a story that’s been shaped by resilience, synchronicity, and healing.

Today, my guest is Morgan—a gifted Theta meditation healer and Reiki master whose journey began in the midst of profound trauma. In April 2013, while working as a massage therapist at the Boston Marathon, Morgan witnessed events that would change the course of her life forever. She found herself compelled to quit massage school and move to Boston, guided by subtle nudges from the universe and a consistent trust in her own intuition.

Morgan's path was anything but linear. She found herself at the Boston Duck Tours, where one day, a group of monks embarked on a tour, bringing with them a sense of peace and spiritual awakening, which felt so familiar. That encounter was a catalyst, opening Morgan up to a world of energy work, deep inner healing, and the magic of following the path unfolding in front of her.

In this conversation, we'll explore how Morgan’s intuitive journey has led her to help countless people through Theta meditation, Reiki, and the unique practice of ear seeding—a gentle technique proven to bring relief from migraines, other aches and pains, and restore balance.

If you’ve ever wondered about the mysterious nudges from the universe, the natural healing you can experience, or the extraordinary power of intuition, this episode is for you. So settle in, open your heart, and get ready to discover how choosing Joy Over Fear can transform everything.

  • AF as a MF: The magical changes that come with living Alcohol-Free
    Nov 30 2024

Happy Thanksgiving, friends!! We are so grateful for all of you and appreciate you sticking by us after a break from publishing and posting. It's been a minute, but we're happy to be back and having these conversations with you. Today we talk about living AF (aka Alcohol-Free) and some of the ways are lives are different these days. Pat gets super vulnerable as we walk through our first drinking experiences, the college days and getting "the spins", to day-long hangovers as functioning adults, and the decision to stop the cycle. Neither of us anticipated we would ever make this decision, but we also didn't anticipate that life would be this good. THANK YOU again for listening, and for contributing either in the comments or in DM's; we LOVE hearing from you! All our love!

  • Good Grief! A better understanding of the history of grief management, and how we have been taught to cope (Episode 1 of 3)
    Oct 14 2024

In this episode, we discuss a topic that is commonly misunderstood, but one that every single one of us will (unfortunately) experience at least once in our lives; Grief. The more we love people, pets, relationships, jobs, etc., the more the idea and experience of losing them can be devastating, and today I want you to know that you're not alone, there are ways to manage it, and you can....dare I say heal in the process; we will dive into these emotions together. Grief can be so difficult to talk about, to define, and to express, so I've decided to break this topic into 3 parts, and this is the 1st of 3. We will define what grief is, how it differs from bereavement, how we've been taught to manage it, and how to lift ourselves up and choose Joy Over Fear even when people tell us to "move on, get over it, etc.". Stay tuned for 2 more episodes to continue the conversation! All our love, and THANK YOU for listening! We appreciate you.
