In the first episode of our LGBTQ pride month podcasts we are talking about the uncomfortable scenarios we can find ourselves in while studying in a classroom or with a tutor.

To come out or not? It's the age old question for queers, and sometimes it's easier to hide ourselves out of fear of discrimination or making other people uncomfortable.

I sat down to talk with my friend (@hao.writes on Twitter) to discuss his experiences with tutors and how he has handled it before.

I had a fun lot of learning about Sumerian, Akkadian, Cuneiform, and ancient literature. It was really cool reading about the theories behind the languages, where everything came from, how it evolved, and how people are digitizing the writings so they can be more easily studied!

I have some problems with how SLA studies are done and how regular, nonprofessional people talk about them. This is me complaining about that.
