 Luna pulls into a truck stop outside of Winslow, Arizona, on a dry October night. Inside Healy's Diner, the only other customer is a woman in a beige coat who has been sitting at the counter for six hours, nursing a cup of coffee that never goes cold. The waitress, Ruth, tells Luna that the woman comes every night, always orders the same thing, always leaves before dawn. But when the diner's fluorescent lights flicker and the woman turns, Luna sees that her reflection in the window doesn't match her body—and that she hasn't blinked once. A slow-burn story about what happens to people who are still waiting for a bus that already came.
