    Travis Hittson was sentenced to death for the 1992 murder of a fellow navy sailor, Conway Utterbeck. Travis grew up in a household full of alcoholism and abuse, which lead to many personal issues in his life. When he grew up he wanted to impress his father by joining the same branch of the military he served in, The United States Navy. There he was welcomed as a great and dedicated soldier who was said to be quiet, socially awkward and was always trying to please others. He never felt like he fit in though, despite having many close friends in the Navy. In 1992, Travis was separated from his close navy buddies, when his shipped was transferred to Pensacola Florida. There he met Edward Vollmer, a sociopathic manipulator who would abuse Travis. On a trip to Georgia, Travis was manipulated by Ed into carrying out the brutal and senseless murder of their fellow sailor, Conway Utterbeck. Ed was sentenced to life with parole and Travis got the death penalty and was executed in 2016 in Florida for the murder.

    Marvallous Keene was one of the 4 criminals who were part of the notorious killing spree known as the Dayton Ohio Christmas Murders. Born in a turbulent home, Keene faced numerous challenges that ultimately led to his involvement in a violent murder spree with his gang “The Downtown Posse”. In 1993, he was convicted for his role in multiple murders, robberies and car thefts that resulted in the deaths of 5 people. Before his execution in 2009, Keene requested a last meal of a Porterhouse steak with A1 sauce, Fried Jumbo Shrimp with cocktail sauce, French fries, onion rings, Pillsbury Dinner Rolls, a mango, 2 plums, a pound of white seedless grapes, German chocolate cake, 2 bottles of Pepsi and 2 bottles of A&W Cream Soda. The rest of the “Posse” are still serving their life sentences today.

    Richard Norman Rojem Jr was executed on July 27th 2024 for the brutal kidnapping rape and murder of his 7 year old ex-step daughter Layla Cummings in 1984. Richard’s life started with great struggle and adversity. In 1978 Richard raped 2 teenage girls in Michigan and sent to prison. There he grew an interest in his cellmate’s sister, Mindy Cummings, Layla’s mother. After troubles arose in the home, Richard retaliated and brutalized young Layla. After a long 40 years of appeals and 3 separate death sentences, Richard met his fate after enjoying his last meal consisting of 2 small double cheese, double pepperoni pizzas from Little Caesars and 2 cups of vanilla ice cream. The case has made a lasting impact on the family and highlights the importance of stranger danger.
