Nathan is feeling nervous about the first day of school and wonders what it will be like stepping into something completely new. That night, Peanut Butter Jim takes him back aboard the Wooden Parrot for a brand new pirate adventure. But this time, their old friend Jarret the Ferret has been promoted to captain and is about to lead his very first voyage.

When they arrive, Jarret reveals a mysterious treasure map leading to a place no one aboard the Wooden Parrot has ever seen before. With a new captain at the helm and an unknown adventure ahead, the crew sets sail to find out where the map will lead them.

In this stories for kids podcast episode, Nathan and PB Jim join Jarret as he learns what it means to be a captain. When a powerful storm rolls in, Jarret faces one tough decision after another as the Wooden Parrot battles crashing waves, fierce winds, and a narrow passage leading to a mysterious island.
