  • Soggy Bottom Pirates | Session Two: The Acquisition of The Silver Ladle
    Jan 29 2026

The Spindle has gone dark. Cracklecradle Port smells like smoke and regret, and somewhere beneath the milky waves, a robot full of stolen god-essence is walking toward who-knows-where with a bird scientist in a bubble.

Our heroes, if we're being generous with that word, are left standing in the wreckage with nothing but questions, a handful of bets, and the dawning realization that maybe they should get a boat. The con artist writes a mysterious note and hands it to a bear. The Tigris fighter storms off to find her mentor and gets information she absolutely does not want. The bear starts looting a church. And the anxious Honeykin cook? He just accidentally quit his job via prolonged eye contact with his boss and is now being handed a coconut bomb by strangers.

The plan is simple: volunteer to unload a Knights of the Bowl supply ship, create a small distraction, and sail off into the sunset as definitely-not-pirates. The execution involves a tiny leprechaun disguised as a tiger child saying "come on, mommy," a guard who really wants to talk about step-parenting, and a cleric who decides the best place to plant an explosive is inside the church.

What to expect: Magical honey smeared on wounds with concerning enthusiasm, a natural 20 that reveals way too much about incoming ships, mirror conversations with entities that refuse to answer, "the oven" as an alibi, a Suggestion spell requesting a 30-minute dance routine, one guard kicked into the harbor, one guard who stops splashing suspiciously fast, and the birth of the most reluctant pirate crew in the Milky Bowl.

Content Note: This episode contains fantasy violence, theological disputes about cereal mascots, a character literally blowing up his place of worship, mild murder, the phrase "oily balls" said way too many times, and one bee who takes 11 damage from his own bomb. He's fine. Mostly. Listener discretion advised.

The Silver Ladle has been stolen. Commander Oatsworth is furious. And somewhere out there, Master PF is waiting to be found.

  • Soggy Bottom Pirates | Session One: Crackle Faded Port
    Jan 22 2026

A con artist leprechaun crawls out of a pickle barrel dressed like tiny Van Helsing. A Honeykin line cook wonders why his chest feels tight on a holiday shift. A scarred Tigris fighter arrives to find her master has vanished. And a bear in pirate getup tries to sell definitely-not-stolen jewels to a guy named Barnacle Ben. None of them know that in approximately fifteen minutes, their entire world is about to go dark.

But the horn sounds first. That low, mournful blast from a ship with gray-green sails and a figurehead shaped like a rotting human foot. The Barren Sole has come to Cracklecradle Port, and it's not here for the honey. While fireballs rain down and the floating markets burn, something worse surfaces beneath the Spindle - a wet bird-man with a dormant robot and a plan to steal the literal essence of chaos itself.

This D&D 2024 actual play launches a new campaign with cereal-themed worldbuilding, a devastating setpiece the players cannot win, and the moment a god's light dies while a tiny man watches and whispers "God's dead."

What to expect: Jewel-licking negotiations, disguise self turning someone hot pink instead of stealthy, a door kicked so hard it hits a leprechaun on the other side, "Hot honey!" as a battle cry, a barbarian diving seven stories after a robot, and the most ominous breakfast mascot lore you've ever encountered.

Content Note: This episode contains fantasy violence, mild adult humor (PG-13), aggressive haggling during active bombardment, creative theology around cereal mascots, and one very stressed bee. Listener discretion advised.

Welcome to Soggy Bottom Pirates! This is Session 1 of our new flagship campaign set in the Milky Bowl. Subscribe now and sail with us.

  • The Northlight Agency | Session Four: Credit Card Declined
    Dec 24 2025

Armed with peppermint boomerangs, nutcracker knuckles, and a suspiciously convenient jet pack from Tinsel Hartford's secret armory, the Northlight Agency launches their final assault to save Christmas. Their first obstacle? A sentient tornado made entirely of "Thank You" shopping bags. Their second? Santa's own reindeer - now chrome-plated, LED-eyed robots demanding credit card verification for flight.

But the true horror waits in Santa's throne room: The Hunger itself. Wendell Graves, a commerce-obsessed villain who's been extending Black Friday for a century, has fused himself with a massive mechanical Turkey and stolen Santa's power. When the Turkey's chest cracks open and Graves emerges screaming "You can't stop the market!" - our heroes realize they're not just fighting a monster. They're fighting capitalism itself.

This D&D 2024 actual play delivers robot reindeer combat, a two-phase boss fight, the power of Christmas music as a literal weapon, and one terrified yeti throwing a baseball bat while running away.

What to expect: Absurdist horror shopping bags, "credit card required for flight," a yeti ice breath that nearly kills everyone (including allies), Jinx singing Mariah Carey to defeat evil, and the most satisfying villain imprisonment location ever: underneath Macy's.

Content Note: This episode contains fantasy violence, mild adult humor (PG-13), capitalism as the true villain, friendly fire incidents, and a retirement conversation that's been 400 years overdue. Listener discretion advised.

The Northlight Agency has concluded! Stay tuned for our next campaign and upcoming live shows. Subscribe now and never miss an adventure!
