In this episode we finally see how this monster was caught and permanently put behind bars. Unfortunately, as you'll see it wouldn't last long. Travis would have one last move to use to show his dominance over the investigation, and over the police and FBI. Most of the victims families never got the closure they deserved as Travis would go out in a way that some questioned. On this episode, a woman named Kayla and her boyfriend Charles were hired to do a job on a 95 acre property. But when they got there, Charles was shot in the chest and Kayla became a hostage to an unknown killer named Todd Kohlhepp. Kayla was found tied up in a storage trailer and told police everything Todd had done but this wasn't the first time Todd had killed and locked someone up. It was later discovered on his property that there were two other bodies that he confessed to killing as well as a high profile quadruple murder that had plagued the community for 13 years. In this episode, only 2 of the 4 girls who were responsible have been taken into custody for the death of Shanda Sharer. Melinda Loveless and Laurie Tackett were arrested. Toni Lawrence had come forth with details of that night, and Hope Rippey went into hiding, courtesy of her parents. Police retrace the steps given to them and found cracks in the timeframe that didn't match up. Interviews were conducted on Amanda Heavren and initially she denied any romantic relationship with Shanda or Melinda but letters that were written between her and Shanda were found telling a different story. Also, we go into detail of Shanda's autopsy and the cause of death. Stay buckled in because this ride isn't over yet!
