The 37th Annual Folk Festival happens every January just when we need it! Veteran musician, Marianne See has been with the Anchorage Folk Festival from the beginning and brings her rich history of those early days through now in this fabulous discussion. My friend, Jeff Young went into a rapid and shocking descent off the mountain of life and in just seventeen days left his body. The experience brought me face to face with the dying process and death itself. It was shocking and devastating to my best friend, whose husband was a well known runner in Anchorage. Yet our shared spiritual consciousness gave us a chance to step into the new design for preparing for someone's death as well as the sacred ceremonies that await us when we make room for them.
