He has taught at colleges and universities in the US and Europe and spoken at conferences and retreats around the world. He lives on a 40′ motoryacht in Southern California and travels half the time. When he is not writing or editing, he enjoys hiking, fishing, reading, drinking Scottish whisky and smoking Cuban cigars. He shares a birthday with his favorite author, Ernest Hemingway.
