  • Week 3 of the 8-Week Journey: Words Hurt | Communication & Emotional Safety
    Mar 11 2026

Tonight’s community conversation from The People’s Podcast continues our 8-week healing journey with Week 3.

Our focus tonight is something simple that carries deep impact: words hurt.

Many people grow up hearing that words should not affect them. Yet most people can remember a sentence, a comment, or a moment that stayed with them for years.

Words shape how people see themselves. Words influence how relationships grow. Words create either emotional safety or emotional harm.

During this gathering we explored how communication patterns develop, why hurtful words often stay with people long after they are spoken, and how becoming aware of the language we use can help create healthier relationships and stronger connections.

We also began introducing the next step in Week 3 of our journey. In our next discussion we will explore a deeper question that grows directly from tonight’s conversation: Do I feel safe? Understanding emotional safety helps people recognize the environments and relationships that support honesty, respect, and personal growth.

  • Freedom or Escape?
    May 1 2026

    Peace, Peace…

When you walk away from everything you know…

    Is that freedom… or escape?

In this conversation, we sit with a man who faced a decision that could have changed everything.

From prison… to relapse… to standing at the edge of losing his freedom again…

He saw the cycle before it repeated—and this time, he chose differently.

With no clear plan, no guarantees, and no safety net, he walked away from everything familiar to build something new from the ground up.

Now living off-grid, this story isn’t about perfection—

It’s about accountability, consequences, family, and what it really means to choose yourself.

  • : Still Alive… After Everything
    Apr 29 2026

    Not every story is told.

    Not every struggle is seen.

Some people carry what they’ve been through… and still show up.

Tonight, we sit with a real story— a moment that could’ve changed everything.

    Because sometimes…

    being here is the story.

Still breathing. Still standing. Still alive… after everything.

This conversation isn’t about glorifying pain…

it’s about honoring what it took to keep going.

And understanding the difference between being hurt… surviving it… and growing through it.

We’re the ears that will listen, where your opinion matters.

    Let’s have a good conversation.
