In this episode I talked to the creator and founder of Cookie Box Co, Vick.

We all know Vick as the brains behind the crazy not-so-dinky pies and the mouth-watering chunky hunks but most of us don't know how she came to be.

We know about her bodybuilding escapades but until now we didn't know how she found the sport and what she was doing before bodybuilding and baking.

In this episode we take it back to her days as a teacher, the breakdown of her relationship and how she got through some of the darkest times in her life.

I have heard America Ferrera's Barbie Monologue many times since the movie came out and I think its fair to say that her speech 'spoke' to most women. The “impossible” standards we feel we must meet on a daily basis.

It was only recently that I heard her speech again but this time when she said "You have to be thin, but not too thin." I heard, "you have to be lean, but not too lean" and my mind spiralled into all of the expectations that are placed upon women who train.

When I shared this on Instagram I was overwhelmed by the number of women who replied to the story, shared it, messaged me, liked it, reacted.. etc.

So, I wanted to upload it here. It was a moment in time where my brain ran away with itself, but I felt it needed more than a moment.
