On April 27th they passed a motion restructuring all House Committees — bumping Liberal seats from 4 to 7 on every committee. House Leader Steve MacKinnon went on camera and promised they would still work with other parties.

One week later they shut down cameras at 4 different committee meetings. No debate. No warning.

Here is what they are hiding:

The Ethics Committee investigating the Prime Minister's own ethics screen — shut down.

The Health Committee investigating PrescribeIT — a $300 million program the federal government spent on replacing fax machines that shut down on April 19th 2026 with less than 5% adoption — shut down.

The Science Committee investigating a $200 million federal agreement for Spaceport Nova Scotia — a program that appears to have bought Canadians a cement slab — shut down.

The Transport Committee investigating documents related to the Port of Montreal expansion — shut down.

In less than one week they hid over $500 million of taxpayer money from public view.

And while all of this is happening Canada's Heritage Minister Marc Miller is on camera telling us Canada has fallen behind Europe on censoring the internet.

The Conservatives Kept The Liberals In Power | Now They're Shocked They're Acting Like Liberals

Two weeks ago the Liberals got their majority.

Last week they tabled a motion to restructure every House Committee in their favor. Monday it passed.

Yesterday the Liberals voted to shut off the cameras during the health committee's emergency meeting on PrescribeIT — while Conservatives were calling for the Auditor General to investigate $300 million in wasted spending.

Now Andrew Scheer is calling it shameful.

But five months ago on November 7th 2024 the Conservatives voted to keep the Liberals in power by refusing to back the Bloc's non-confidence amendment. That vote allowed Bill C-9 to pass — the bill that removes religious protection from the Criminal Code.

And last week Conservative MP David McKenzie was calling on the Liberal government to table social media ban legislation — which means Digital IDs for every Canadian.

25% to 30% of Canadian youth aged 12 to 24 are already on some form of psychiatric medication. ADHD prescriptions increased 157% between 2015 and 2025. And the Conservative solution is internet censorship.

Both parties. Same agenda. This is the uni party.

Jaskirat Singh Sidhu was supposed to be deported yesterday.

Federal Court Justice Jocelyne Gagné granted him a temporary deferral so he can pursue a humanitarian and compassionate grounds application to stay in Canada permanently.

This is the man who killed 16 people and injured 13 others in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash. Who served 2 and a half years of an 8 year sentence. Who was ordered deported in 2024.

And nobody told the victims' families.

Manitoba just became the first province in Canada to move forward with a social media ban for kids under 16. But before you celebrate, ask yourself — how exactly do you verify someone's age online?

In a breaking story today, Government House Leader Steven MacKinnon tabled a motion in Parliament to change the composition of every House of Commons committee. The vote hasn't happened yet but with 174 seats the outcome is not in question.

To understand why this changes everything you need to understand how a bill becomes law in Canada. Because buried inside that process is the one step that actually keeps a majority government in check. The committee stage. And that is exactly what the Liberals just moved to control.

Right now committees are split 4 Liberals, 4 Conservatives and 1 Bloc. The proposed motion changes that to 7 Liberals, 4 Conservatives and 1 Bloc. A guaranteed Liberal majority on every single committee. Every bill. Every clause. Every amendment. Every witness. Every vote.

This is the same government that rushed Bill C-9 through committee after making a deal with the Bloc and killing the debate. The same government that got its majority not through an election but through floor crossings — a first in Canadian history. And now the first government in Canadian history to move to change committee composition mid-term.

Bill C-2, C-8, C-12, C-16, C-22, C-25 and whatever else they decide to table — including a social media ban — can now be rushed through Parliament with zero meaningful opposition.

The last check on Carney's government is about to be gone.
