  • The Trap of Busyness: When Life Crowds Out God
    Dec 5 2025

In today’s episode of The Psalm Exchange, we revisit a conversation first recorded back in October—but now, in December, it hits even deeper. We talk about busyness: how it can be both productive and purposeful, yet also a distraction from what matters most.

Psalm 127:2 reminds us that “in vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—He grants sleep to those He loves.” God never intended for our schedules to replace our surrender.

Whether it's work, family, events, or even ministry, busyness becomes unhealthy when it takes us away from presence with the Lord. Today, we pause to reflect, reset, and realign our priorities with His pace.

  • Meekness Sucks....But It's Necessary!
    Aug 11 2025

In Matthew 3:13-15, we see Jesus—the Son of God—choose to be baptized by John, even though He had every right to take the lead. This moment is a powerful picture of meekness, not as weakness, but as strength under control.

In this episode, I share how Jesus’ example reshaped my understanding of meekness, especially in my marriage. Practicing meekness has been one of the hardest yet most transformative traits I’ve worked on this year. It’s not about shrinking back—it’s about letting go of the need to always be first, right, or in control, and embracing the quiet power that comes from humility.

If you’ve ever thought meekness was just about being passive, this episode might just change your perspective.

  • Hidden Sins
    Jul 16 2025

In this episode, I’m taking you back to a moment when God used Proverbs 31 in an unexpected way. Like many of us, I’ve read Proverbs 31 for years as a blueprint for virtuous womanhood — but one day, sitting with verses 1 through 9, I saw something deeper.

King Lemuel’s mother wasn’t just teaching him what kind of woman to look for — she was teaching him how to live righteously, with integrity and self-control. As a mother to a son myself, I felt deeply convicted: Am I becoming the example I’d want my son to follow?

It was in that moment that God revealed the hidden sins in my own heart — not the obvious ones we preach about like fornication, porn, smoking, or cussing — but the quiet, respectable sins we ignore: pride, envy, gossip, laziness, gluttony, unforgiveness.

These are the sins that won’t get you side-eyed at church, but they rot the heart from the inside out. Working on these hidden sins takes real faith, patience, and daily surrender — because they don’t always produce quick, visible fruit.

Join me as I open up about how God exposed these places in my heart, how I’m learning to confess them, and why holiness means letting the Spirit transform even what no one else sees.
