Standing tall and confidently requires that one be deeply rooted in who they are. The hardest journey of our lives is often that of self-discovery. Though we are born and raised in a family, what we are taught as the basis of who we are is limited to the knowledge of our immediate relatives. However, there is always more to our origin story than what is often articulated to us. Understanding the tree of our ancestry is a climb that can likely branch in multiple directions. We are living in a day and age where many people have an innate desire to find out who they are, and sometimes travel is the only nourishment that can feed this level of curiosity.
