⭐⭐ Four Runners, Four PBs at the Manitoba Marathon | Project 4 Recap! | TRJ #175

Earlier this year, Rob and Charlie launched Project 4: coach four runners toward marathon times they had never achieved before, support them through the full training block, and run alongside them on race day.

Months of training all came down to the Manitoba Marathon, our hometown race and one of Canada's best-known Boston qualifying marathons.

In this episode, we recap the full Project 4 experience, including race-day strategy, the difficult kilometres, what went right, what nearly went wrong, and how all four runners finished with personal bests:

    Gord - 3:25
    Jenn - 3:28
    Donny - 3:51
    George - 3:57

Four runners. Four personal bests. One unforgettable day at the Manitoba Marathon.

⭐⭐ Our First In-Person Episode! Manitoba Marathon Prep & Project 4 Interviews | TRJ #174

In this episode, we introduce Project 4 in-person!!! This is our attempt to help four runners chase marathon goals they've never reached before.

Rob and Charlie each took on two runners each, built their training plans, checked in with them every week, trained alongside them, and on race day, they'll be pacing them every step of the way.

We get to know the runners, their goals, their training, what they're nervous about, what they're confident in, and what it would mean to finally cross that finish line with the time they've been chasing.

    - Jenn is looking to finally break through after three painfully close 3:30 attempts.

    - Gord is chasing a big jump after his first marathon in Regina.

    - George is trying to go from 4:37 to sub-4.

    - Donny is coming in with confidence and a clear mission: get his sub-4.

The Manitoba Marathon is June 21. Follow along and see if we can get them there!
