  • Ep 105: Motherhood, Humanity & Living in ICE Occupied Minneapolis with Elise Kelly
    Feb 2 2026

Welcome back to the Sarah Centrella Show you can watch the video of this episode on YouTube

In this raw and unfiltered conversation, I sit down with Elise Kelly, Minneapolis mom, intuitive storyteller, and co-host of the Trust Yourself! podcast with her sister Heidi Hansen — a platform grounded in intuition, self-worth, and real talk.

Elise recently posted a viral reel detailing the daily lived reality in her city after heightened federal enforcement actions, and the impact it’s having on residents — especially families trying to feel safe and human in their own community. In this episode, we peel back the headlines and talk about what life actually feels like for moms on the ground: the fear, the grief, the resilience, and the yearning to protect children while holding space for humanity.

This conversation isn’t about politics — it’s about parenthood, community, collective stress, comming together as American's and what it means to show up for one another in times that feel inhumane. As two mothers determined to make a difference, we explore what it takes to stay grounded, connected, and hopeful in the midst of crisis — and why bringing the lens of motherhood into this conversation matters.

Tune in for a real, heartfelt dialogue between women who are living this moment, feeling it deeply, and determined to help others navigate their own fear, uncertainty, and compassion.

  • Ep 104. When Enough is Enough: Searching for a Path Forward
    Jan 27 2026

Today’s episode is deeply personal. I ask that you listen with an open mind and heart to the end. You can watch it here on YouTube

I’m sharing how I’m processing the recent killings in Minnesota, the grief, anger, fear, and confusion they’ve stirred, and the questions I’ve been sitting with since. This is not a political takedown, and it’s not about choosing sides. It’s an honest reflection on what it feels like to witness violence, loss of life, and the growing sense that something is deeply broken.

In this episode, I ask hard questions, the kind that don’t fit neatly into party lines. I speak to both sides of the aisle, not from ideology, but from humanity. From the shared belief that no matter our politics, tyranny, violence, and violations of basic human rights should never be normalized.

This is me thinking out loud, searching for a more grounded, open-minded way forward, one rooted in compassion, discernment, and unity rather than fear and division.

If you’ve been struggling to make sense of what’s happening, feeling torn between outrage and exhaustion, or wondering how we move forward without losing our humanity, this conversation is for you.

This episode is an invitation to slow down, stay curious, listen more deeply, and remember that our common enemy is not each other.
