The night after Luna chose to let Evelyn broadcast, the studio is quiet. The static shows only the test pattern now, but Luna finds a second reel-to-reel tape hidden in the green room—one that Evelyn recorded the morning after her first broadcast. The tape reveals what the signal does to a person over time: it erases them piece by piece, replacing memory with static. Luna plays the tape and hears Evelyn's voice grow thinner, more distant, until there is only the hum. Then the static on the monitors flickers, and Luna sees herself reflected in the glass of the control room window—except the reflection mouths words she is not speaking. The loop is tightening. Luna realizes she must find a way to break the signal before she forgets who she is entirely.
