  • Persevering Hope
    Feb 21 2026

In this inspiring message from Pastor Dave at Seed Christian Fellowship's radio ministry, dive into Romans 5:1-11 and discover the power of persevering hope.

Through justification by faith, we gain peace with God, constant access to His grace, and joyful rejoicing—even in suffering—because suffering produces perseverance, perseverance builds proven character, and character fuels an unshakable hope that never disappoints.

Anchored in Christ's sacrificial death for sinners and the Holy Spirit's outpouring of God's love, this hope isn't dependent on changing circumstances but on a transformed perspective. Drawing from biblical heroes, historical turnarounds like Vince Lombardi's Packers, and personal stories of endurance through illness and loss, Pastor Dave challenges listeners to reflect:

How has your suffering already produced perseverance, character, and hope? Stand firm in grace, embrace the process, and let hope anchor your soul.

  • Parables: Weeds & Wheat
    Feb 20 2026

In this sermon on the Parable of the Wheat and Weeds from Matthew 13, Pastor Dave reminds us that Jesus, the Son of Man, sows beautiful, good seeds—representing His followers and the sons of the kingdom—throughout the world.

But while people sleep, the enemy sneaks in and plants poisonous weeds that look similar at first but ultimately produce harm, sin, and death, representing the sons of the evil one. Rather than uproot the weeds prematurely and risk damaging the wheat, the owner instructs to let both grow together until harvest time—at the end of the age—when angels will separate them: the weeds burned in fire with weeping and gnashing of teeth, while the righteous shine like the sun in God's kingdom.

The message challenges us: What seeds are we sowing in our lives—good ones that bear fruit for God's kingdom, or weeds that lead to destruction? In a world full of imitations (like "good without God" humanism or fake faith), we must spend time with the real Jesus, plant authentic seeds of love and righteousness, and let our fruit shine so others know we are His.

The call is clear: Trust in God who never fails, plant good seed daily, and live as the real deal—because we'll be known by our fruit!

  • Standing On Tiptoes
    Feb 14 2026

What does it mean to be saved in hope? In this powerful message, Pastor Dave takes us on a journey through Romans 8, exploring one of the most beloved chapters in the Bible.

Just as Jesus walked over 1,440 miles between Galilee and Jerusalem during his lifetime, we too are on a journey—waiting, hoping, and sometimes groaning as we travel the road God has called us to walk.

In Romans 8:18-27, Paul uses the image of groaning three times: creation groans, we groan, and even the Holy Spirit groans. But this groaning isn't hopeless—it's like the groaning of childbirth, filled with expectation and the promise of new life.

    Key Truths:

    • There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1)
    • Nothing can separate us from God's love (Romans 8:38-39)
    • We are saved in hope—standing on our tiptoes, looking expectantly to the future

Through the moving story of Ruth Graham's return home after two failed marriages and her father Billy Graham's welcoming embrace, we discover what God is truly like: a Father waiting with open arms to say "Welcome home."

The Challenge: What are you standing on your tiptoes to see? Hope that is seen is no hope at all. True hope is waiting patiently for what we do not yet have—with joyful expectation.
