It's Kampy's turn for the animation Show Off with Over the Garden Wall. And she’s got a lot of splainin’ to do… about the history of animation! It’s Amanda’s pick for the animation round of The Show Off and we’re kicking things off right with The Legend of Korra! Amanda’s hottest take in the history of the pod might be this: she likes Legend of Korra more than OG Avatar: The Last Airbender. BUT WAIT LET HER COOK— because the subtext tea in LoK is piping hot— and we’re getting into it in this episode.

We’re talking animation style, incredible fight choreography, expanding the Avatar universe, Korra vs. Aang as the Avatar and their contrasting personalities, bigger swings in the themes of LoK, "my cabbages" energy, truly one of the greatest sacrifices in television history, and the incredible subtext that makes that sacrifice all the more powerful. On a kids' show!! (We stan Lin Beifong on this pod!!!)
