  • E151: Morning Gratitude Meditation
    May 18 2026

*What if the first five minutes of your morning changed everything about how the rest of it feels?*

This morning gratitude meditation is a gentle practice to help you begin your day from a place of presence rather than pressure. Using breath and mindful reflection, it can help shift your nervous system out of morning anxiety and into a more grounded, open state — before the noise of the day begins.

In this session, I'll guide you through a short breath-based settling practice followed by a mindful gratitude reflection — inviting you to notice what's already here, before the to-do list takes over. The practice is rooted in nervous system awareness and draws on mindfulness and yogic philosophy to help you meet the morning with more ease.

No props needed. You can do this sitting up in bed, on the floor, or in a chair — whatever works for where you are right now. All you need is 12 minutes and a willingness to pause.

*Journal Prompt:* What is a bit of gratitude that you can carry with you and keep coming back to throughout your day, regardless of what the day may bring?

    *Who this is for:*

This practice is for anyone who tends to wake up already behind — mind racing, scrolling before you've even gotten up, or dreading what's ahead. If mornings feel more like a sprint to the starting line than a gentle beginning, this is for you.

If this felt like a nice way to start your day, I'd love for you to subscribe — I share new breath, movement, and rest practices every week.

And if you're ready to go deeper than a single video can take you, I offer 1:1 yoga therapy sessions designed around your nervous system. The link to more information is below.
