  • Peggy Nolan uses Stories in Speeches, Ep 6
    Jul 12 2022

We talk to Peggy Nolan. CEO and Co-founder, CEO Payment Card Assessments LLC, about she uses stories and humor to get the most out of her public speaking opportunities.

We talk about her "lightbulb moment," when she realized that the way most of her colleagues presented wasn't engaging and at a level that a wide audience could be captivated, and how she engages audience at the outset of her presentations.

And how she bringss her mindfulness and meditation practice into her presentations so that her audience can slow down and connect, with themselves, and with Peggy. And we even chat about how and why she uses "poop emjois" in her LinkedIn posts, to maintain a high level of authenticity with her followers.

I thoroughly enjoyed talking and listening to Peggy. I know you will too.

  • Andrea's Story of Healing, Ep 5
    Jun 14 2022

Andrea Elizabeth Dragosits is the founder of Souljourn Adventure, based out of Canada. She organically started this business after spending years as a hard-charging successful executive with a concierge travel company. Reaching her breaking point about eight years ago, Andrea sought a new holistic lifestyle during a nourishing retreat of yoga, meditation and mindfulness in Costa Rica.

There, Andrea rediscovered herself, realizing she was not living in alignment with her true self and potential. When she returned home, Andrea got divorced, quit her corporate job, sold her home, and returned to Costa Rica to do more self work. What she found was a woman who had come full circle to the little girl she had been decades earlier, poring over travel brochures and dreaming of blissful faraway places.

Eventually, Andrea built Souljourn Adventure, where she channels that childlike joy into a new phase of her life, helping others like her going through transitions in their lives, find their purpose and live more in alignment with their values and potential.

She is a certified Reiki Master and a Mindfulness and Spiritual Guide.

She provides global wellness travel and lifestyle consultations.

  • The Dark Side of Stories, Ep 4
    May 26 2022

This episode was going to be about public speaking and how stories and storytelling can make your presentations and speeches so much more powerful. Then the school shooting at Uvalde, TX happened, and someone told Richard a story on Facebook that isn't true, but confirms her bias.

We spend this episode talking about how fear and other biases inside each one of us can lead us to believe untrue stories to confirm those biases.
