In this episode, Randi talks to Battle and Randall of Blaec Elite DJs; but these two gentlemen are not just DJs. They are entrepreneurs who have built several businesses of their own, in addition to being mentors and developers for businesses around the world. They are insightful; operating on faith, trust and intention, with a healthy dose of radical kindness and positivity, they possess the desire to educate and leave everyone they connect with in a better space than before they met them.

En route to Benny Boy Brewing one day in June 2025, Frankie mentioned that there was a new DJ duo spinning that night, promising Classic R & B, Hip Hop, afro beats and more. We were ready for the vibes; but the vibes we arrived to? Immaculate. These guys brought style to the process; cozy stage, black leather couch, gnarled wood coffee table housing not only turntables and DJ equipment, but candles, incense, distinct spiritual sculptures. Essentially, a temple or shrine, if you will, to the music, the practice, the culture…and we were there for it.

In this episode, Randi talks to the incredibly talented and undeniably delightful Lori Lamont. Lori exudes warmth and love not only through her persona, but also her gorgeous paintings. A self-taught artist, working out of her beautiful studio in Long Beach, California, and working exclusively in watercolor, Lori creates breathtaking pieces that don’t portray the usual fodder depicted in the medium.

Lori doesn’t do traditionalist.

She does big, bold, beautiful paintings that are a juxtaposition; through them she feeds us a meal of hearty, satisfying images of gorgeously meticulous flora & fauna, then satiates our need for a “sweet treat” by throwing in modern pop culture, fashion and big business references, creating a delicious dichotomy for our eyes and our minds.
