  • Day 3 - When Life Squeezes You, What Comes Out?
    Oct 2 2025

This entry is a reflection on personal standards versus external excuses. I use the analogy of the squeezed orange to stress that our true character—excuses or execution—is revealed when pressure is applied. I contrast my personal commitment with the common reasons people give for falling short of clear, non-negotiable goals.

The core lesson: Radical honesty means knowing what is inside you. The quote that defines this is: “When life squeezes you, what comes out is what’s inside.”

    Key Takeaways:

    1. Non-Negotiable Standards - If the goal is 30 minutes, you do 30 minutes, not 28. Anything less is a failure of commitment.
    2. Punishing Weakness - If I think about skipping a task, I punish that impulse with extra work. This is about eliminating weak-arse behavior.
    3. The Moving Mindset - Debating obstacles is useless. The only mindset that changes things is the one that commits and moves.

Action: My challenge is to eliminate the distance between planning and executing by enforcing my personal standard and crushing the impulse to be a "whinny bitch."

  • Day 2 - Comfort, Stretch, Panic
    Oct 1 2025

Today I realised I do not have to build everything myself. I discovered Circle.so and saw its value, even though I’m not yet paying 500 pounds a month. I’ve been panicking in my stretch zone, but choosing a proven platform lets me focus on momentum instead of reinventing the wheel. Between cycling up Greenwich Hill, coaching rugby in prison, and coding into the night, a solid foundation keeps me moving forward.

Core Lesson: There is no point in reinventing the wheel when expert platforms exist.

    Key Takeaways:

    1. Lean on experts: use established tools so you can focus on growth.
    2. Plan for scale: build your skills first, then upgrade your platform investment.
    3. Stay in stretch: recognize panic, then return to steady progress.

  • Day 1 - Build First, Worry Later
    Sep 30 2025

On Day 1 I broke down the myth of gatekeeping and explained why it’s better to share your work early instead of hiding it.

Lesson Learned: I don’t need to wait for perfection to launch—my effort and authenticity can’t be copied.

    Key Steps:

    1. Release early: share your idea before you overthink it.
    2. See imitators as proof: if people copy, it means the idea has value.
    3. Empower others: teach in a way that makes people independent.

I believe we grow faster when we lift each other up.
