Danny Parker is a PhD student at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a qualitative methodologist and an ethnographer, but more informally I know her as my TA. Her teaching style is unlike any other professor or instructor I have experienced. Undoubtly caring and understanding, Danny teaches students how to think beyond the material. Her immense dedication to her research and her students faciliates an enviroment for us to learn and grow. After a year of attending her classes, I have picked up some of her stories along the way– stories that I believe people could benefit from listening to. My first, and very special guest...
